Header sound level

So I purchased some TSP 1 7/8 Headers with offroad x-pipe for my car. I already have a Borla S-Type NPP axle back. I am wanting my car louder but don't want to be obnoxious.

For people that have headers and the Borla S-type NPP what am I looking at for noise level? Should I just stick with what I have and sell the headers or put them on? I do daily my Camaro and go on road trips as well. Don't want it screaming all the time but would like some more volume.

Thanks for any help!

It'll sound really good. It can scream when you want it to in sport or track with throttle, or be pretty tame while in tour.

So it actually does mellow down when in tour mode?

Not really especially if you're going catless headers.

I think these cats make a big difference here. My car is also much quieter in tour mode with the Kooks green catted headers and the stock NPP exhaust, although cold starts are still earth shattering.

Cats definitely help with smoothing out the exhaust note and helping with drone.

I also have Kooks headers with regular cats going into the NPP and it is very quiet when cruising and plenty loud when you get on it.

And yes, cold starts are shockingly loud. I scared the crap out of myself one day; coming out of a store I remote started the car when I would about 10 feet to the rear. Made me jump.

But then when the car idles down, it's very mellow and calm.
