Expecting a spin-out into a pot-hole as part of being track capable is somewhat of a stretch. Don't spin out into a pothole at the track and an air bag will not deploy.

Tough one. Feel bad for the owner but he basically had an accident and the airbags went off. If this happened on the street I would guess much less publicity.

Goosing the gas in the rain will produce bad results.
Finished a run last year w left into finish and did same, goosed the gas and did a 360 thru finish gates, fortunately no potholes  clean, no cones.This makes it.. 2nd ?: incident of bump setting off curtain airbag. 1. One arm driver when he went off the rumble strips into grass - BOOM 2. AutoX guy spins and hit pothole - BOOM. I was worried ZL1 and fence / tree were gonna meet - - very close quarters.
