Front Sway Bar for the SS 1LE (autocross)?

Anyone add and adjustable front sway bar to the SS 1LE for Autocross?

Was it an improvement over stock?

I know the GM guys use the ZL1 1LE front bars on their camaros, 1LE and SS. Im sure it helps put the power down like in my FS car.

If the ZL1 1LE bars are an upgrade for the SS 1LE, that must mean it's stiffer? A stiffer bar in the front means better grip in the back, right?

OP: how are you trying to adjust the balance of the car?

Pretty much. By increasing the weight transfer across the tires at one end of the car (aka stiffer bar) the result is reduced grip at that end of the car and increased grip at the opposite end of the car.

I think this is a popular FSB for the SS 1LE

I'm with Rye on this - what are you trying to make the car do better here?

Just looking for opinions and if there are any specific sway bars people have tried.
Doesn't look as if anyone here has swapped the front bar.

I think I've seen Jeff talk about the Hotchkis bar in the front helping the 1LEs performance in Autocross. That made me consider getting one, but I don't think I have enough experience to really effectively interpret what the car is telling me. Basically going to the 305 square setup improved the turn in tremendously and shifted the car from slightly understeer happy to more neutral if not a bit tail happy. I'm just don't want a front bar to take away the excellent front grip and turn-in that the car has right now.
