Mine goes in tomorrow for the second flush with the new fluid. They will have it over the weekend while I am in a rental. I will post later on about how it feels and if the fix lasts.

Has anyone done this yet? I haven't had to have mine flushed since about 26,000. I am currently approaching 35,000 and Still haven't noticed it come back yet. But If this works better I will take it in and request it anyway. Hope to hear back from someone who has already had this "new" fix done.

Just had it done on Wednesday. So got the new fluid and tranny put back into learn mode. Took about 4k miles since replacing the TC for the shudder to come back. Driving at 60mph it was constant like strumming a guitar. So I assume it will be about that long before it comes back. Going to start looking into Lemon law or contacting GM.

I have been a GM buyer since the 60s. Since the 80/90s we (consumers) are the beta test for GM. I have been affected by my last two purchases, I Strongly believe they are tossing out products with lack of adequate real world testing. I would not touch the A8 or the new engine DFM (6.2 and 5.3)with the 10 foot pole....
BETA Test: Second level, external pilot-test of a product (usually a software) before commercial quantity production. At the beta test stage, the product has already passed through the first-level, internal pilot-test (alpha test) and glaring defects have been removed. But (since the product may still have some minor problems that require user participation) it is released to selected customers for testing under normal, everyday conditions of use to spot the remaining flaws. Here's mine with the new fill procedure. It's only been about 500 miles but it's been good so far.

So the question is would you be able to get the new fluid before the shudder starts?? I just has a new converter put in and if this truly fixes the problem I would like to get it done BEFORE the issues start again.

Man I feel for you guys experiencing this problem. In 2016 I purchased my wife a new Hyundai Tucson Limited with the 7-speed dual clutch transmission and it failed 4x in the 10 total days we had it, it was undriveable. Went to the dealer and sat as a known issue with no fix till I demanded a buy back a month later. Now she has a '18 Mazda CX-9 (way better car!!)
I currently have a 2016 Camaro 2SS A8 as a DD that I bought ~ a year ago with 27K miles. I have never had the shudder issue and am at >33K now. I did get a maintenance history from the dealer and there has been no transmission warranty work. A few moths ago I got the Range AFM disable primarily to keep it in V8 mode all the time. Most of my driving is in city with occasional highway driving. Couple of questions: (I think I know the answers but not 100% sure) 1. Are all 1LE cars M6? 2. Do the M6 (non-1LE) cars have AFM? I am thinking of taking my car in before 3yr/36K end and mentioning transmission shift issue just to get a flush and fresh fluid. Do I dare poke the dragon?? FYI, I do have the rear diff groan, had it flushed once last spring but it came back when the weather got cooler this winter. Cooler is relative as I live in Phoenix AZ.
