I had long tubes on my 73 camaro, 68 firebird, 71 corvette, and now I will put some on my 2018 ZL1. What I can’t figure out is how to adjust the quadrajet carb on this thing?

Can you find the work "LONG TUBES" in the header style column? Me neither...just sayin.

It's almost 2019 and universal term is "LONG TUBES" this isn't the 80's anymore.

Been calling them longtubes since the early 90s.

I have "longtubes" on mine with the NPP and it is raspy and obnoxious sounding, especially on a cold start. I bought an AWE cat back with resonators to combat this, just waiting for it to be built.

If you truly want to retain your warranty, you must do the following(not recommended):

1 - Never tell your dealer or let any dealer know.
2 - Never tune the car, limiting the gains you will see from the headers, and causing issues with the car and how it runs.
3 - Swap the stock headers back on every time you take the car in.

Long story short, Headers and factory warranty do not mix. If you're going headers, you really do need a tune. ECM tune means no more power train warranty.

I don't care how cool your dealer is, a major repair requires the shop send an ECM snapshot to GM, and they can see you tuned your car.

Look in to a secondary cat delete. Add sound, no tune required.

This would be more work then it would probably be worth but you could grind and port out the exhaust right after the collector. There is a ton of restriction before the first cat.

Labeled as "Long Tubes" from every sponsored vendor I know of that supplies headers for our cars:

Straight answer to OP, if you put on headers drive train warranty is gone. Doesn’t matter who puts it on. Tune is required no matter what. Power about 20-30 RWHP. Sound will be louder for sure and if catless very loud. But awesome!!!
