Weighed my car the other day
Figured I'd throw some info up, for reference for others. I weighed my car the other day and figured I would post the results:
3516 raceweight 3269 without me in it Details: 2016 1SS A8 (no other options except NPP, but it's obviously removed) Backseat and passenger seat removed Qa1 carbon driveshaft Lithium battery Exhaust removed at the x-pipe Bogart drag pack 1/8th tank of fuel Carlyle racing 15" rear brake conversion I plan on cutting more weight this winter.... looking to get it down to 3100 lbs without me in it, but we shall see.

That does seem light for such minimal reduction. I need to get a set of scales. I am sure having them would motivate me to find a few more lbs to remove.

How many pounds can you save with lighter wheels? Not only will you reduce static weight, but the reduced moment of inertia will enable the wheels to accelerate and brake faster. Thoughts?

Wow that battery is light!
I'm thinking of getting a Lithium Ion battery as well. I need one thats real good at powering everything including a small sound system. Of course when racing I will remove the sub box for weight as well. |

Nice! gonna have to grab one, help off set some of the weight from the Whipple. The stock battery is shit anyway. Did you have to modify anything to install it?
