Apexit53 AutoXing Camaro adventures
Hi Everyone! Mike here with a 2017 Camaro 1SS.
fallow along on instagram apextit_53 A little story about how I came to get this car since it was quite the adventure. The summer of 2014-2016 I was autocrossing a Subaru BRZ and after last season I was on the hunt for a Camaro. White was my 1st choice until I saw the krypton green. Green is my favorite color and I wanted that in the WORST way. I sold my BRZ this spring then was one the hunt. I could not find a 1SS in green so I ended up ordering one. Got a call two weeks after I placed the order and was told Chevy is no longer producing that color and I just missed it. I found a 1LE near my in green but the 1LE was out of my price range and for autoX classing reasons I wanted a 1SS. After all that I ended up finding a 1SS locally in white with black wheels and she is perfect! I autocorss mainly here in Wisconsin with the Milwaukee scca, but I also do Chicago, Iowa, and some national tour events with the SCCA. I have been autocrossing for about 10 years and in that time I have raced a few different cars, some similar to each other and some very different. This Camaro ill be the largest most powerful car I have run yet. Feel free to like and subscrive to my youtube channel. Using a friends 1SS Camaro for a few events until mine is broken in. 1st event in my car should be the spring nationals tour in Lincoln Nebraska memorial day weekend. when a friend of mine let me barrow his GT350 to "sell me" on getting a v8

Ive worked with Sean at izoomgraphics.com for many year and he makes the numbers for all my cars. If you need numbers the quality is top notch, service and turnaround is spectacular.

Thw autoX wheels and tires have arrived
Bridgestone RE71R 19" Avanti catalan wheels. I was worried about these but I dont think they will look too bad... besides they are just for autoX. 1st event in my own camaro will be spring nationals at the end of may! noticed at a few events with a lot of rubber pick up that there were rubber marks on the top side of my rear quarter panels. So I bought a pair of front ZL1 addon rock guards.
