Exclamation ACT Twin Disk Clutch

Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has my car for testing their new replacement twin-disk setup for the Gen6 Camaro.

I just thought I'd throw this out here now.

I'll add pics and details as soon as I get them.

The clutch is in.
It's a Twin Disk HD Street Kit.
Rated for 875 tq at the crank.
Weighs in around 42lbs, IIRC.
I'll try to get more accurate info.
No part number available yet. Should be soon though.
This is the first one on the road as far as I know.

It is a lightened flywheel and does have a small amount of gear rattle at idle and under low speed load (surge rattle).
Engine revs noticeably faster. Car feels faster. It's hard to "break in" the clutch because its so fun. It was fun before, but more so now.

I'll try to answer questions if anyone has one. And I'll update this thread with thoughts and opinions.

Sweet. Did they give you an idea of MSRP?

They typically run around $1300.
They did mention that the install was a little more difficult than usual requiring the sub frame being dropped.
