ATTENTION CHEVROLET DEALERS:



The mighty Camaro ZL1 is back for the 2018 Model Year, along with the new highly anticipated 1LE Package: the most extreme track Camaro we've ever made.

Here are a few key facts of which you should be aware:

Production:

ZL1 production for Canada will begin in the summer of 2017 ramping up in time for the spring market of 2018.
At low temperatures, ZL1 performance summer-only tires risk damage. Therefore, shipping will occur only when appropriate.


Distribution:

ZL1 will be produced in limited quantities for Canada. We estimate a total of 200 will be produced in the 2018 Model Year (including both Coupe and Convertible).
Of these 200 units, less than 50 will be equipped as 1LE models (option A1Z).
District Managers will advise those Dealers estimated to be receiving allocation during the week of May 29th.
We will do our best to accommodate whether or not you prefer a coupe or convertible, but availability may dictate which model you receive
At this time, we do not expect to have availability beyond these allocation quantities. Dealers who are not advised by their District Manager should not expect to receive one.
Allocation will be based on Camaro dealership historical retail sales index.
Ordering will be available in OWB the week of June 5th.

So, exactly what is the ZL1 1LE? Well, to mention a just few of the pulse-raising enhancements: exposed weave carbon-fibre air extractor and rear wing, 19'' forged aluminum wheels with new Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires, adjustable suspension with Multimatic DSSV® dampers, and more... In preliminary testing, the new ZL1 1LE was 3 seconds faster than the standard ZL1 Coupe around GM's 2.9-mile, 18-turn Milford Road Course test track. Ahh nice now we will wait and see how are dealers make out. Am I right in assuming that any orders and tpw's will be after what is currently showing for people.

No! I have my sources like I did for the 2017 launch.. Every dealer got this email yesterday in Canada including yours. Check with your sales manager. Best of luck!

NB is on point once again! One sharp salesman from the dealership that didn't end up with a 2017 allocation just phoned me and said they got one convertible and one coupe allocated to their dealership. He didn't believe me when I told him I got the 2017. Anyway should be a little more breathing room for people to get one now but I don't think 200 is going to quite cut it for demand.

I spoke with my sales guy, im pretty pumped. According to district manager my 1LE will be first for the country.

Just an FYI, No dealer can garuntee if the car will be a 1LE or not if you order one. I was told you send the order, if it gets picked up them youre lucky. If not, not sure if the car comes how you ordered it minus the package.

What are you ordering?
I'm getting HBM 6pd, no roof, pdr, stripe and nav also trying for the carbon fibre dash insert.
Will have to hook up when they finally come.

So got confirmation that all 200 have been in fact allocated. So if your dealer didn't get the call unfortunately they won't be so start picking up the phone and calling around. Good luck!

Ist post here but I got my confirmation from my dealer that I will be getting a ZL1 1LE.My dealer is getting 2 ZR1's for the 18 model year,1 the 1LE and the other just a normal ZR1 and both are now sold.I placed my order with the dealer in January and I was told that I was number 1 on the dealer list.I am pretty pumped about this car as I do track quite a bit and this will be replacing my 2015 BMW M4 and this will be used as an occasional street car.
This not my 1st Camaro as I learned to drive on my mom's 67 327 Convertible and went on to own myself a 70 Z28,77 Z28,96 SS350 and my wife also had 3 Firebirds and becoming a German car snob
I think I will have lots of fun with this car!
