555r. No launch control, 1800rpm. I bet it has a 3.4 in it easy.

I think we really need access to the CCM or whatever controls traction control. Its just hard to believe we couldn't get launch control to work for us, there's no way a human can be better and more consistent than a computer.

I tried launch control today. The car won't hold...just wheel hops and tries to spin. It wont let me set the 0-60 timer because it thinks the car is moving... So it's only good for stock power. Dont really need it anyway...with these tires this setup will go 3.4-3.5 time after time. It's consistent enough to bracket race. Quick little first gear burnout, brake stall to 2k rpm, let off brake and put the pedal to floor....hooks and goes Everytime.

You're saying the tires won't hold when trying to brake stall with launch control? That's weird I wonder how you are getting enough traction to get 3.6 seconds, but it won't hold the torque from launch control? I'm still at a best of 3.9 seconds. I swear one time I got 3.8, I get mostly 4.0 or 4.1 I think its heavily dependent on how clean the road is, whether its got sand or gravel, or its freshly paved. Then probably the temp of the asphalt and tires. I just hate trying to burnout and warming the tires, I just see money flying away haha

As far as I know the timer starts instantly, so its not including roll out. I'm pretty sure the stock quoted time of 4.0 is with rollout. Now I've heard rollout usually takes about .2-.3 seconds off the 0-60, and I think I remember looking at my HP tuners log and adjusting for the rollout and getting I think like 3.6 seconds.

No I am saying the car wouldn't sit still(the ass end was bouncing up and down) to allow the 0-60 to activate...just kept saying "vehicle must be stopped". So I manually launched from 2k and got the 3.4. 2200 rpm is right up against the stall.

My car is not a daily, but I would rather drive these daily then the stock run flats...much nicer driving tire but they will only last 10-15k miles if your easy on them.

But you could probably run a harder tire up front and only have to replace the rear. Also do you have to sacrifice a lot in handling? from the tire being less stiff?

Im running the stock run flats up front...it would be pointless to run a drag radial up front for sure.

Car handles fine with the 555r's. Best drag radial for all around driving. I have had all of them.

No 1SS has it too, I think it's under the "perf" category on the screen. Spend a little time searching for it and you'll find it.
