I guess it could be a breathable material. I have some level of doubt as to how critical it really is.
For testing where the airflow was not central to whatever was being tested (durability mile accumulation, suspension testing, brake testing, etc) covering the flowtie would have minimal impact to vehicle operation and zero impact to the testing results.

For testing where measurement of airflow, fuel economy, hp output charting is important, some and maybe all of that sort of testing can be done in wind tunnels, on dynos, and on roads within Milford Proving Grounds where spy photogs have no visibility.

New to the Camaro community and i'm considering purchasing one.

However, I'm having trouble understanding if the 2019 1SS with 1LE track package will be available with the 10 speed Automatic transmission?

Thank you!

I concur with all of the negative comments on the SS Front fascia. Just spotted a new gm sierra at the low speed wind tunnel at work - it's even uglier than the SS imho.

1LE always comes with manual transmission, I doubt they change that for the refresh since the new turbo 1LE is manual only too.

You can rattle off statistics all you want, but if someone is shopping for their new daily driver and wants a muscle car, trunk space and rear seat room become a determining factor. It doesn't matter if the average number of occupants is 1.55 people. What matters is that the car can actually seat four people comfortably when the need pops up.
Everything you stated is pretty much not true for most of the people I know that own Camaros. I personally bought mine for a weekend car. No need for more than me and one other person.

A ok! If that's the case then I might just wait to get a good deal on a remaining 2018 1LE. My dealer in miami is already giving huge discounts, but none of the 1LE's have the PDR, which is a dealbreaker for me.

Thanks again

My '10 SS is a daily. Round trip to work and back is about 70 miles. Not once did those factors come to mind when I bought it. I've got four kids and in a pinch have made very short trips with all of them packed in there. I rarely use the trunk at all. Just throw items in the passenger or back seat. We have a Trailblazer and a Caravan if we need to haul the whole crew. There's been a handful of times when I've thrown a few adults in the back seat. I doubt they would have wanted to pull a road trip but we got around town for a night.

I think the 2019 Camaro RS version looks better than the SS. The SS looks to much like the Charger in the front, and I dont like the taillights.

I have to say that I do like the Camaro refresh better than the Mustang.

I have been waiting to see the 2019 refreshed Camaro before I trade in my 2016 V6 RS for the 2017 or 2018 2SS V8.

Unless this refresh grows on me fast I'll be buying 2017 or 2018 2SS.

Nope.

This is the same stupid logic that the 5th Gen Pre-Fresh owners said about the 2014's..it wasn't true then..

And it's not true now.

But by all means, if it helps you sleep better, believe what you will.
