tint question

Going to be tinting by windows soon. I was thinking about doing the strip across windshield but before I make up my mind I wanted to hear from people that have the tint strip on their windshield. Do you like it? did it make the car feel even smaller inside?

On the Camaro I specifically chose not to do the windshield strip this time since it already has one of the thinest sightlines on the market. I did do it on other cars though including my Mustang

I never did like the strip on the windshield, some vehicles that I got had it and I took it off, it's like driving in a tunnel from my prospective and I like to see out the front but doing the ceramic tint on the doors/quarter glass and back glass I like.

I have the strip and it comes in handy when driving into the sun. However at stop lights it can make it harder to see. Its up to you

That is what I did, with ceramic tint. Works and looks great, while keeping out heat build-up inside, especially in Fla. I did 20 % ceramic tint on rest of windows.

I didn’t do mine, rest of the car is 5%. I figured it was going to be pretty dark inside, and like I mentioned the sight line.
My truck is 15% with arched wide banner and it works well

I posted this before on another topic thread. I'd say go for the strip. it works well. here is my car with the 5%.

I also have a 70% tint on the entire windshield, 5% tint on the rest. Wouldn't even consider anything less, personally. Its really hot in FL.

The tint strip helps cut down on the glare.

I did 70% full windshield for raptor and Camaro. No issues in past 3 years and I’m in Commiefornia.

Lucky you. In MD I'd get ticketed asap.
