The DWS06 is a very good all-season tire but it isn’t a high performance tire. You don’t say how fast you were going or what RPM the engine was running. There might have been dirt, moisture, or something else on the road surface. There might not be anything wrong with your car. You may need to adapt your driving style to the traction level of new tires.

Welcome to the Forum! Now that you made your first post, you might as well stay awhile.
In regards to your car, it sounds like the traction control may have been disabled/turned off, resulting in wheel slip, or was the payment wet or clean, sometimes this can happen if there is sand or other debris on the road, especially if you are doing some spirited driving. |

My rear end slipped from me turning left on a light at night after it rained. Roads were wet but not soaked, so definitely tires unless like 1hprush said and you might’ve had the TC off

i wish i had a better way to explain this because i 100% know its not normal i had the car for a year and it just happened out of no where and i do a lot of spirited driving
the other day as well i was getting off the freeway maybe about 25-30 mph sunny day but my rear end just slid like i was drifting it felt like excessive body roll but i have no idea |

If the car feels wobbly, it could be the shocks. Mine leaked pretty early and you could tell when they gave out as the car got squirrely .

"brand new"...how new? brand new do take time almost 500miles for the mold release agents to wear off.
OP is devoid of any kind of meaningful details. |

Could be a lot of things from fresh oil on the road, to a peanut butter sandwich throw out the window on the road. (IDK) Not much details from you, I will play the guessing game too. Check your half shaft bolts sounds like your half shaft is loose.

Not near enough details.
I've been on many entrance ramps in Corvettes and even in 3rd gear you can get the back end to come around. That being said, the nannies ultimately catch you. So OP did you turn any of traction controls to off? Tires are a big deal too. On my SS Sedan I switched back and forth between the stock Bridgestones in the summer to Conti's in the winter. And for the most part you couldn't tell the difference......until you got to a more extreme situation. Also, from experience, if you aren't expecting it to happen, and it happens, it becomes an "oh shit" moment. Likely nothing more than the tires......without more data. Refer to this thread wanting MORE traction. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=578251
