SS 1LE wheels on ZL1 1LE

I would like to get some backup rims and tires. I love the look of the SS 1LE rims. Does anybody know if they would fit on a ZL1 1LE?

They will fit just fine, they are the same exact specs as the regular ZL1 wheels.

The SS 1LE wheels are 20 inch. I am worried there will be a clearance issue with the DSSV dampers.
I hope I’m wrong. I love the SS 1LE wheels and it would be nice to have a set of rims with nice road rubber and keep the ZL1 1LE RIMS for track use. Or just to flip flop to change the appearance of the car.
And I prefer the SS 1LE rims over the regular ZL1 20s.

From what I understand the DSSV are narrower and give more clearance than MRC.

ZL1 wheels are not the same spec as the ZL1 1LE wheels and not to forget DSSV on the ZLE.

He's referring to the ss 1le being same spec as ZL1

I would do the opposite I would use the zl1 rims as back ups and get 19s if your spending the money.. Why? because there are a lot better sizes, compounds, and prices.. There was talk that MMR would have the SS 1le flow forged in 19s but then again they said they would do the 5th gen z28 in 19s and that didn't happen either..

So does anybody have a definite answer?
Do the 20 inch SS 1LE wheels and tires fit on a ZL1 1LE car?
The ZL1 with the DSSV dampers.

yes, they will fit fine. My ZL1 A10 has the same wheel offset as an SS 1LE and I have a set of ZL1 1LE wheels that fit fine. Using this reverse logic, the SS 1LE 20" will fit and tuck into the fenders more.

Yes, all day long. If you put different wheel studs up front with 1/2 more threads (ARP or Dorman), you can put that length of wheel spacers and better flush out the 20x10 wheels to the wider ZL1 fenders. The SS 1LE share wheel sizes and offsets front and rear, but, the regular ZL1's have the wheels ~1/2" inboard visually due to the wider front fenders.

Sorry. Confused a bit by your comment about better sizes and compounds and prices. Better in the 19 inch or 20 inch?

Ok I’m kinda surprised. I figured they made more 20 inch wheels between the manufacturers than 19s.
