Who has the most miles on their Z/28 ? What are your experiences ?

Now that it is 2017, the Z/28 has been out for a while. I am curious to read who has the most miles on their Z/28 and what has been your issues, non-issues, surprises, recommendations, wear, feelings, etc ...

Note: I have had my black 2015 Z/28 since October with roughly 2K miles and have experienced no issues, only grins from ear to ear.

Not me... 350 miles and owned it for less then a week. Stupid cold weather and snow is keeping me from driving it.

3700 miles, and the only real issue has been the red paint wearing off the engine covers.

2 months - 750 miles - no issues, except car was delivered with hood very poorly aligned. Will be adjusting @ first service.

13000 miles on mine.

No issues here. Pretty durable car at the end of the Gen V.

This is a known issue and the dealer will replace the valve cover under warranty. One of my valve covers had that problem and I went to my local chevy dealer and they replaced it for free...

That being said, when cleaning the engine, no cleaning solution on the lettering and do not touch the lettering with a rag and do not hit the lettering with high pressure water.. It is very sensitive.

10,000 miles, only normal wear and tear. I purchased the car new and did a total inspection on the car inside out and under. I did find a few miss routed wires, loose bolt, miss installed clamps, small naggles typical of GM quality.. As far as reliability all is well.

6000 miles...good durability except what I changed. The factory setup is quite robust.

13,000 miles, Issues have been Red Paint on valve covers, Stitching on the Drivers seat shoulder harness strap, Dealer fixed these items under warranty.
Paint damage on the rear quarter panels from the front tires, fixed that with mud flaps on front tires.
This is a bad ass ride, gets a lot of attention where ever it goes.
been to the track 5 times
ran it at the Mojave Magnum 1.5 mile from a standing start 169 mph
ran it at the silver state classic in Ely Nevada twice (90 miles open road, top speed 135mph
so it gets driven and really no issues

Any dragstrip fun? I mean, you have basically used the car in every type of venue that I bought my car for. Ive only been able to get it to the dragstrip a few times.

I forgot about the drag strip racing,
went to Irwindale raceway twice 1/8 mile track
went to Fontana raceway once 1/4 mile track
this is a better track car than a drag car
still no issues

Quite true. Its just hang out time for me with my Camaro club.

As for miles, im just over 9,000. I returm from a deployment this spring, goong to put new tires on my Z, and taking it on a cross country drive. Im expecting to put about 5,000 miles on it!!
