The meth comes on at a designated boost level, or that's how my set-up worked. Alky Control's kit is progressive (best -ramps up in tangent with boost levels) mine however didn't inject until it reached 19psi, then the flood gates opened (not progressive - older kit) I actually ran denatured alcohol, but it achieved the same thing - supress detonation and allow more boost.
