After tallying what everyone posted so far, the 6th Gen is in the bottom 3 along with the 3rd and 4th Gens with the 4th Gens, by far, in the cellar. The 6th Gen might fair differently in a 6th Gen forum...maybe replace the 5th Gen or 2nd Gen? The 1st Gen is still miles ahead as the #1 pick for most folks so far don't think that would change in a 6th Gen forum.

Where I have slight issues with the refresh, it the duplication of rear marker lights. Otherwise why wrap the tail light? And mu bigger beef is with the black plastic up to high in the rear, cutting under the plate. Ford did it with the ugly refreshed rear in 2010 Mustangs and sales tanked. The tail lights grew on me. And the 2014/15 edition is wayyy better than Gen6 |

I had one just like this 35+ years ago, but the orange with white stripes were faded and I had it repainted Gunmetal grey with silver metallic stripes. Orange with white stripes is one of the nicest combos. I almost went with IOM on my 5th, but went with black for a more conservative color.

Here you go: Probably in the minority here...but i sure loved my red iroc-z..yes it only had about 210hp, bad plastic interior, squeaked like crazy, but the handling package was not bad, the new at the time tuned port injection V* looked like a vette engine. Good old days.

This is tough because there's a few disclaimers on here...
1 - 1st (but only with the hideaway headlights - otherwise, it just looks bug-eyed) 2 - 5th (original front, refreshed rear... Wish I could have had a model like that, but still a great look nonetheless) 3 - 3rd - Probably one of the better looking cars made at that time 4 - 6th - I like how they shrunk it a bit, as my 5th is a bit of a beast, but it just lost something in the styling 5 - 2nd - Not much to say. Its not a bad looking car, but I like it the least of the proper Camaro line. 10 - 4th - lets just pretend this one never got made. Good? Good.

My order was quoted above.
Since explanations were requested: The doofy looking "spars" on the 4th gen that didn't even line up with the mirrors are the biggest gripe I have. It's just not a good looking car at all. The 5th gen blows it away. The 3rd gen was what I grew up with (graduated HS in '89) so I have fond memories. The 2nd gen was also a solid looking car while the 1st was obviously a classic. The 6th doesn't do it for me, although the ZL-1 1LE is sinister as hell in black. |

73 is the same as 70-72, 74 was the first model with the big bumpers.
