I always wondered that. So Vinview knows what vehicles are assigned to certain dealerships, and only folks from those dealerships can see the full suite of information.

Purpleracer from the coloradofans website had heard 100% of the vehicles at Wentzville would be cleared for shipment by the end of next week. let's see.

Showing 4200 now but still marked DELAYED. Latest GM order system status update was 4/19.

Sorry for 20Q i find the logistics intriguing. What is the relation of 4200 and delayed? I wouldnt have thought there could be one. Shipped is shipped. I would understand 4300 and delayed. I was moved from 1 satellite lot to another lot as of last week, and was 4300 w/ delayed eta. Does the system just need time to reflect the eta? Or is it actually possible to be 4200 and delayed? I know we have all heard of situations of vehicles just appearing on lots unexpectedly, so maybe this is what that looks like.

4200 just means that the vehicle was loaded onto a transport and moved somewhere. It can be 4200 status if it moves from one lot to another or if it was actually shipped to the dealer. If it's going a short distance, you'll usually only see 4200 for a short time and then it will be 4300 or 4B00.

These statuses change when a person logs an event tied to the VIN/Order#. So, if it's stuck at 4200 for a while but the vehicle hasn't really moved on VINView, then it's probably just because someone hasn't logged a change in the status.

I've also seen vehicle show that they are shipped and on a truck on VINView when they really aren't. They will sometimes show this status when assigned to a truck but that truck might be taking another load somewhere and might not even have the vehicle we're actually tracking on it yet.

I'll have to talk the dealer into looking up VINView. I'm guessing my truck got moved to one of the holding lots.

Not a Colorado but I have a '24 Silverado High Country 2500HD that was completed last Thurs/Fri at Flint. It's scheduled for delivery to KC on the 27th. 21 days to go 650 miles. Petty sad.

That’s gonna slow delivery of them. My pick up had hail damage and the repairs were impressive. Wonder how bad and what type of discounts they may sell for after repairs. I’m itching to see these sweet looking pickups on dealer lots.
