Vinyl Wrap splitter?

I did a brief search, and I've seen a lot of rear spoilers and mirrors, hoods wrap, but I haven't seen a wrapped splitter. Has anyone done this? Have suggestions? I have a ZL1 conversion kit from IKON motorsports and I know I'll have to prep the polypropylene or it won't stick. Should it be done on/off the car? New at this and just looking for any suggestions. TIA!!

Given how easy it is to remove, definitely do it off the car. It may be possible to do it on the car, but even if it is, it'll look better and be trimmed out better if it's done off.

Yeah I believe I’m gonna take it off, use some adhesion promoter, paint it, the sand the rough spots out and wrap it off the car. I’ve read it doesn’t stay attached to the polypropylene very well and will delaminate over time

If you do it off the car, make sure the splitter will be solidly attached to something as you might need to put on the wrap to install it. It is always easier to do the wrap when the part is on the car since you have both hands free to work the vinyl.

I've thought about making a jig to attach it to and doing that.

Yes, but it will look better wrapped off the car. -but I definitely agree with your thinking about have both hands. Not sure it's even doable just lying loose on a workbench.

A jig would probably be necessary.

Do you have any tips / lessons learned from when you did yours? Photos of the before and after?
