Sorry to hear you're having problems with your spoiler (really, it's a wing on this car). I didn't like the OEM ZL1 spoiler, so I ordered an IROC-Z blade style spoiler from Magg performance. That was truly a poorly made product, very heavy fiberglass, and it didn't fit properly (the holes were drilled in the wrong spot and didn't even come close to lining up). Magg performance was absolutely excellent with their customer service. They paid to have it shipped back and offered me a credit or a refund. Because they were so professional about the return, I decided to credit the amount and order a C7 Carbon wing with the lower 4.75 uprights. I think the fit and finish were excellent! Keep in mind I had a later production date and have only had it for 2 months (that might have something to do with it). Also, I've modded numerous cars over the years, and you RARELY get OEM quality and/or fitment with aftermarket. So with that in mind, I really enjoy the C7 Carbon 1LE style wing! My first spirited drive, I noticed increased traction in the bends.

The below pic is a GM OEM wing......they told me, the pics on their website were their "prototype" wing (unless they have changed the pics on their website) as you can see from the pics in the recent post above, the angle on the end plates is way off, too much downward angle. IMO, the end plates are just positioned wrong on the wing. Fix that and it's a great piece.

I spoke with C7/Anwar and he acknowledged how bad the downward angle was on mine. Like downright goofy looking. Supposedly he is speaking with the production manager (his go to response for everything) and I should be hearing from him this week. If I don’t I’m contacting the cc company (mine also had severe rattles in side from broken off material.

Wow
That angle is way too much...
My C7 wing from 2018 has the bottom edge almost parallel to the trunk.
May be not the wing, but the pylon angle issue...

Is that a C7 Carbon wing or the OEM one?

This is a C7 carbon wing
Bought it 2 years ago
Probably not the same as the wings built the last 2 months where they seem to have a big angle....

Here is a pic I sent them when I was trying to explain to them what the problem with the end plates was.

The yellow line shows the way the end plate needs to be positioned on the wing to give it the right look.

Well that looks like an easy fix from a manufacturing stand point.

Thank you again for the feedback! When we revised our spoiler V3, we went back to the CAD files, and created the same downforce / angle of attack as the OEM ZL1 wing. If you look at some of the factory pictures of the ZL1 wing it is also angled down.

We wanted to create the maximum downforce possible for our V3. As some of you have mentioned in this thread, when we revised the downforce / angle it created the a more angled down look to the spoiler. We understand some people would perfer less downforce and a more visually pleasing angle on the spoiler. We are currently working with our design department to see how we can get the best of borth worlds (Performance & visually pleasing)

We are hoping to have a update later this week or by early next week along with some pictures.

Again we apperciate everyones feedback and look forward to helping this great community.

Thank you!

I am going to disagree with you that the OEM Wing end plates are angled down. The bottom edge of the plate is virtually parallel to the ground, in other words...level. The top edge is angled, but that is because it is made that way and not because of positioning. The end plates on your V3 look like hell and clearly need to be adjusted.
