2SS illuminated door sill surface "bubbling"
The illuminated door sill surface is bubbling up. It is not something on the surface. If you scrape away the bubble, it exposes the white plastic.
I bought this car pre-owned from a dealer so I don't know the history of the car. I dont know if this was caused by a cleaner or what. Anyone else seen this? I tried searching on it but maybe I used the wrong search terms.

I've seen some people mentioning that theirs started to peel at some point... Maybe a bad quality paint that was put on top of the plastic?

It's really weird. Its not noticeable when it is dark and the sill is illuminated.

The C on my passenger side pealed up so I removed it.
The letters appear to be some kind of thin metal. Probably, the cheapest they could find, lol. |
