Always replace the oil filter with a new filter when you change the oil. Your owners manual will list the appropriate oil and filter based on how you drive you vehicle; track or street. Use 0W40 dexos for everyday driving.

Yes you should put a new oil filter on when you change the oil in your ZL1!

Should always change the oil filter when changing the oil, regardless of which vehicle. Oil filters are cheap....engines are verrrrry expensive.

So I only drive on road no track for the moment ... my first is about 1100 km (something like 800 miles) maybe a mort le but late... but next would be at 5000 miles that’ s right ?
Does it possible to have thé long way life like on my vw ? I would like just more oil Life ... in France it’s very complicated to find a garage to do oil change on such a car lol |

You can use the oil life monitor in your gauge cluster, just change when it reads about 10% oil life or so. Or you can just change at regular intervals, every 5000 miles for example. Don’t forget to check your oil level between oil changes though. With spirited driving this car will consume enough oil that you may need to top it off from time to time. Oil changes in this car are ridiculously easy. Just make sure that the lift is positioned properly per the owners manual. Enjoy!
