You'll likely be able to find brands on Amazon for under that price, but OEMs go for $~500. Just a friendly heads up.

Backstroke isn’t wrong. GM 84136777 was discontinued. Did you find someone that has them in stock for $450?

They used to be under 400 2 years ago. Now they tend to go for 500+ on the used market. These are highly wanted items that are discontinued.

You can get aftermarket ones for 300-ish bucks new. I know everyone has a different opinion on aftermarket or strictly OEM though...

You may or may not have knowledge of the market for these lights, but none of us know what your knowledge is so we're simply trying to help you get your expectations right in your search. In my experience only aftermarket ones that dont flash the turn signals on braking are the Hero ones that look like oem. all the rest have the same issue

The description on these say they do not flash the signals upon braking. I bought them last week, still waiting on them. Replace the asterisks with next gen speed.

Got the tails today and installed. Can confirm that they do not flash the turn signals upon braking.

The only thing I’ve found that isn’t like OEM is that if you have the blinker on, then hit the brakes, the blinker stops for a second and then restarts. You can see this in my video at around 35s.

There’s a wire that plugs into the 3rd brake light and then into both tail lights. I taped it up and routed it with the stock wires coming from the trunk lid, and then up under the insulation surrounding the trunk. Small price to have these tails without the turn signal flashing upon braking in my opinion. These also have reverse light LEDs with the resistor needed as well.

This doesn't look bad at all. I wish it had a mode for non-sequential turn signals, having them at the top is a good idea in the first place.
