I had a 2016 Silverado that GM bought back from me because it would shake around 70 mph. They changed the wheels, tires, rear end, transmission, drive shaft over 2.5 months. They gave me every penny back and bought a 2017 Silverado with zero issues and was a great truck when I sold it with 150K miles

Exterior design also changed in 2019, make sure you check it out and are okay with it.

Just a comment on the A8 shudder. Test drive the car to see if it’s doing it. Lots of threads here on symptoms and what it is, plus the description in TSB 18-NA-355. Google it, it’s straight forward.
If buying from a GM dealer, insist the TSB is accomplished as part of the deal. It costs them nothing. An 18 is still well within warranty so you’ll have years left if it actually happens later. Wife’s ‘16 CTS did it at 40k about 6 months ago and the TSB solved the problem (so far). A good buddy was buying a CTS from a dealer awhile ago and I told him to have the TSB done as part of the deal, dealer was happy to do it. As for the rest, you can see mine is loaded. I wanted it all and found the exact car with all of it, but if I had to miss out on one thing it’d be NPP (exhaust). You can swap to an axle back and not void any warranty (I think), but you can’t add MRC later. For me it was all about bang for buck without voiding warranty. Mine’s a (summer) toy too.

Did a search on auto trader for Camaro, v8, the SS or LT1. Within 75 miles of me a total of NINE new 2021 or 2020 Camaro SS and no LT1. Shows all the way to Tampa which is actually almost a 100 mile drive!
The dealers stock hardly any Camaros down here and the ones listed were around 47 grand on up! |

Whether you want NPP or not depends a lot on exactly what sort of exhaust sound you're after and whether you want to load an aftermarket exhaust. One thing to consider as well is that the NPP exhaust is quad tip (two per side) while non-NPP is dual tip (one per side). This affects the rear diffuser which also plays into what aftermarket exhausts fit properly (and what look you'll be able to get).
When I started looking to buy a new 2020, I found zero cars on dealer lots equipped exactly as I wanted. When I removed NPP as a requirement, I was able to locate TWO CARS in a nationwide search. I bought one of them as it was about 150 miles from my house. I want NPP specifically because I want my car to be 100% stock until all warranty is up, so I am looking at options to either trade (if I can get a legit fair value) or sell outright and order a 2021. The rear camera is something that many with coupes like quite a bit. For me, it's not terribly useful because my convertible top is always down and that results in a lot of glare. You also have to consider that it's a screen and not a mirror - your eyes focus on it differently and it can take some getting used to (especially worth thinking about if you swap cars a lot). For me, I would not buy this car without MRC. The handling improvements in Sport and Track mode are awesome. |

Only must if you’re getting an auto is A10. Wouldn’t mess with A8. Rear view camera is great on ‘19. NPP not a must. Go aftermarket which is better anyway and around the same price. MRC I don’t have and definitely don’t need as the ride quality is already good.

One of the really great things about MRC is that can give a reasonably compliant feel in Sport or Track modes when you're on a "regular road" with a few imperfections but snap right into "super grip" mode on a moment's notice when you get into a corner or even have to execute a defensive maneuver. |

I have a 2019 with 3,000 miles on it I'm trying to get. Has everything except MRC - for a weekend fun car, I'm sure I'll be fine without it for the right price!

Ok, i have a question... SD area, weekend car, why no convertible?
1. I like the mirror, helps a lot with reaward visability 2. I like the NPP l, i like the way it sounds and the functionality of it 3. I could go either way on MRC. |
