Haha was hoping for someone with stock headers. Even the cars I heard with headers n stock exhaust were pretty loud. Just really want to hear the tone of it really

I’m kinda in the middle of socal and norcal; I have an axle back of stainless works redline. I love it, not loud like mbrp. But still has an aggressive sound.

OP, are you thinking axle back or cat back? Auto or manual?

AWE came out with their AFM flange that prevents a CEL if you’re rolling with an auto

Was thinking about the catback. I got a manual so no afm. Leaning more towards stainless works to keep the npp. Is it noticeably quieter in stealth/tour mode btw? Been looking at videos but can’t really tell the difference from the audio.

The tone itself is aot deeper than the stock npp exhaust. Deeper than when I had the secondary cat delete and deeper than the headers going to the stock npp exhaust

@BayRyder, the stainless works exhaust does get slightly more quiet when in tour/stealth bc of the npp flaps closing. It still sounds good when closed. It’ll probably be a matter of time until you pull fuse 51 and leave the flaps open all the time.

I'm in SF. I have the AWE non resonated cat back with secondary cat delete (link pipe). I love mine. It is crazy loud. I had the stainless works retro cat back on my 5th gen zl1 with solo high flo cats. I loved the sound on it too but AWE is twice as loud as my 5th gen Z set up.
