They were decent. I leased this but went in and thought "Employee Pricing for All" was also included. I'm an idiot for not understanding that, and GM is annoying for not calling that out. Ray found I had a supplier discount through my employer which helped bring the numbers down. Apparently I'm also an idiot for not realizing that too

My young salesman was something of a car guy and was good to talk to and deal with.

Visiting this thread is convincing me to order Wild Cherry. It's such a nice color!

Hey... any of you Wild Cherries gone to aftermarket wheels? I'm trying to determine what colors/styles look good but even the Tire Rack doesn't allow me to pick that color.

I really like the looks of a few bronze wheels but don't want to hate them on the car.

Picked up my ZL1 today after a bit of a delay due to the winter weather. Now it's just steady rain. I'll get better pictures when the weather clears up and I have some time. It's a gorgeous color, but to bring out the metallic base layer and deep red candy effect you really need bright sunlight.

I would have told the dealer to hold on to it until better weather.

I was fine with them keeping it during the snow, but the rain I figured I could handle to get it home to my garage.

My stock wheels are black, but I've obtained a set of bronze wheels and summer tires. I rolled one next to my car and the color looks awesome, but I can't put them on my car until the weather up here in the frigid north breaks for good.

On order...

I ordered a 2SS this past Friday, I was torn between this color and the White. I know she will be hard to keep clean, but it will so worth the effort.

I'm authorizing all GM employees overtime, build some fast cars faster... The wait will be brutal!

to the forum, and let's hope GM senior management are reading this and listening

Cherry red is an awesome color, and cleaning difficulty is nowhere near that of black cars, don't worry If you add some coating, it'll be even easier, but this is quite the rabbit hole, so I won't go there (for the record, I have Ceramic Pro on my garnet red 2018 2SS).

I suggest that you use Joe's order tracking thread, he is extremely helpful in graciously providing regular status updates to forum members: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415251. This will make the wait that much more tolerable.

Thanks, and I certainly will be tracking the car. I'm still waiting on my dealer to give me the order #...

As far as cleaning, I live down a gravel road about 2 miles, so I plan on putting the "mud flaps" I have seen on here, and it is what is it. It is only a car.

The dealer should have given you the order number before you left.

on the mudflap idea. If you feel like splurging, buy the ACS Composite splash guards, they look the best. I have the RPI Designs rock guards and honestly they are fine, a little "mudflappy", but good quality and very useful.

No need to wait for the order number, just call them and ask for it, it there is an order, they must have the code, even if they haven't yet submitted it to GM. My salesman printed up the workbench sheet for me as well as the order # without me even asking for it back when I ordered my car. Basic courtesy, and besides, it's not like they have all that much work to do with an ordered car...

Yeah...so now my local dealer said they don't have any allocation.....

I sent Joe an email, and he replied back almost instantly, and he will see if they have allocation in Detroit this Thursday. And I'm also waiting to hear back from the next closest dealer. If you don't have, or can't get what I wanted you should have said that upfront, instead of acting like you have the allocation... Just saying. I will have an order # one way or another this week.

I spent maybe 5 minutes on the phone with Joe, and I already trust him more than the local dealer!

I also plan on getting the design pack 2, so hopefully that will help, but I will be looking into those other "mudflaps" as well. Thanks for the advice!

John
