Team 2013 Here 2014's are really growing on me though. I've been wondering for a while, can you tell its a 1le by the vin? I know you can buy most of the parts from Chevy to make a an SS a 1le(exept the rims I think) If you cant tell by the vin, then will these cars(in 20+ yrs) be worth any more that a normal SS? Even despite the 2013 1le low production numbers?

I own a 13 VR 1SS, didn't want RS/halos and liked the way the black antenna played off the rest of the black features(spoilers wheels, hood etc.) I do like the front end on the 14's, and while some equate the rear tails to the first gen's the 13 tails are a direct link to early second gens. I guess I'm going to be in the extreme minority of people that doesn't like the aesthetics of the hood extractor on the 14, would have preferred a NACA duct on the fender like second gen T/A's. Either year is great,as both have their own distinctive styling cue's. |

But for me, the refresh is what sold me on the 1LE. Even the 14' ZL1 didn't really do it for me as it still has the 13' front end. As stated already, I like them all. |

I'm one of the last to order a 2013 1LE specifically for not having the tail lamps and squinty front end. I'm still glad I got one when I did. I think the front end on the 13s are classic and true to the original, which I like more than the refresh. I will admit the new model looks faster (and probably is) and even the rear end is not really that bad in person to be honest. As far as seats go, I don't care about the SS recaros. I want the Z28 ones so I don't care about that and cost was also factor to me. Both are still sweet.

13 here!
If I had my choice All over again and the 14 was out.. sitting side by side I would still take the 13. Don't hate the 14 anymore that I've seen them in person but it just doesn't look as good as the 13... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk |

I was actually at the dealership the other day and they had a 14 ZL1 on the floor and I was like Dam... then I went out back and saw those tail lights and I couldn't help but cringe!!
Sorry man that happened!! Just doesn't look right. But again hate is a strong word Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk |

You know the non rs doesn't look too much different at night from the 13s. Granted you can definitely tell its a 14 because its square.
I want to get LED bulbs for it. Also will be tinting them soon. Sent from the road.

I got a 13 and love my inferno orange, I just wish the Recaro's were an option then too, but that's bound to happen. Just wish they happened sooner ha ha. Can't go wrong with either year because they are both Camaros and that means both are awesome!
