I agree, it still looks identical at roughly 6,000 miles... I often crack a beer and go out and spend 20 minutes detailing the engine compartment, super easy and enjoyable... Plus my "Lil' Buddy" is always there to offer assistance as well...

(Disclaimer: This picture was from deliver day (Jan 17, 2020), before ANY of my mods... But "Mr. The Dude" was so excited to see the new "Hot Rod" he just wanted his portrait taken with it... Literally the car was in the garage from delivery about 5 minutes! Still had the ugly battleship gray rotor hubs, the nasty OEM marker lights, lacking the OEM Splash Guards, had the OEM Silver lugnuts, basic wheel center caps... No window tint and a host of other things....)

Nearly 6,000 miles, it has NEVER seen rain or even a puddle... It is my "Fun Car", only take it out when it is very nice... The wheel wells still look like new... You can eat out of the engine compartment...

same here. OCD is hard work but worth it. i even polished mine underneath with a toothbrush over the winter lol.

our oven. 15 years old look.
and yep gets used almost everyday

Great looking car. I am OCD as well but not to that point. I drive my Z no matter of the weather, sunshine or rain. I try to enjoy the hell out of it!

Do you mind sharing a few tips on detailing the engine compartment? My next project.

Micro-fiber towels and 50-50 Isopropyl Alcohol and Distilled water... Never let it get too dirty, when it gets dusty, grab a beer and some microfiber towels and wipe it down, way easy to keep it clean than to "clean it" once it gets filthy...

It's a head turner for sure. There is only a few in the UK, quite a rare car. This is my second Camaro, my first one was the 2SS which I loved the moment I got behind the steering wheel. Since then I became fan of the Camaro. I come from the Mustang world, but there are more Mustangs than BMWs in the UK, lool! The Mustang is not a unique car anymore, the Camaro is!
