Great article. It does a good job of explaining why sales for the S550 have been so good. Rather than focus just on the very small percentage of buyers who care about performance, they offer the styling and powertrains that attract a large cross-section of buyers. I'm still trying to figure out why you posted it on a Camaro forum when it has nothing to do with that car?

It is because of these ladies that many of the guys who love the Mustang V8's can have access to those V8's.

Didn't mean any disrespect to Mustangs or the ladies who like them. Just wanted to point out a news article that states one of the reasons why it is selling so well. I plan to purchase a 6th gen. Camaro within a year. Would not be able to do this without the blessing of my wife.
FYI...I am not one of those guys who says the Mustang is a "chick" car. I posted the article here because I am a Camaro fan. Maybe I shouldn't have posted this in the "6th Gen. Camaro Versus..." section. Last edited by Bongos2U; 09-08-2015 at 08:48 PM. |

He was hoping to get people to 'pile on' Mustang's by implying that they are 'chick cars' and unworthy of being talked about in the same sentence as the almighty Camaro, hence him putting it in this forum. There needs to be a huge eyeroll .gif for instances like this. Thread backfire. Also, irrational fanboi outed.

Also posting gains with Burros. Or whatever you others would choose to call a long-eared, horse-like animal.
We rented the Mustang vert on a trip to the Black Hills. Nice car with a responsive V6, but the ergonomics and dash layout were a little quirky. The top operated fast enough, but required a speed of 3 mph or under. It was a little creaky as well. |

I would suggest that the "irrational fanboi" is the one who owned a 2012 Mustang and over-reacted to my post. |
