We just took apart a truck that we installed and has been Whipple supercharged for 198,000 miles and the engine is getting moved to another vehicle, it is in perfect running order.

That truck is getting an ERL 419 with a larger 2.9 Whipple for another 200.000 Miles at 800 HP.

Ted.
Yeah, but that's on the order of 2500 bucks for labor without a tune... How long do these take to install?!

Attached are some dyno plots of Procharger P-1SC-1 and D-1SC head units I found on this site and elsewhere. I read here that the P-1SC-1 is the better option if you plan to stay with an otherwise stock engine. When I look at these dyno plots it appears as if the D-1SC's are performing better at lower RPM. Admittedly, this is a small sample size of different vehicles with different options / tunes and the D-1SC simply flows more. I also see that the D-1SC's are building higher maximum boost pressure as expected, which I think would pose a higher detonation risk. To you Procharger experts out there, is there any advantage to spinning a D-1SC slower vs. going with a P-1SC-1? My goal is achieving a little bit flatter torque curve without going all the way to a positive displacement supercharger. Also, if you live in an area with 93 octane gas, as I do, and go with the bigger intercooler to keep the temperatures down, then maybe a little bit higher boost pressure is not even an issue?

How much power and torque can the stock internals handle? And the bottom end? 700rwhp?

Check out what Vengeance Racing did with this Camaro SS!!

Is your company authorized to even sell Prochargers?

Wow, that is insane! I just read your signature line.
Do you have a video or dyno slip of your car? Sounds killer.

Cunningham just put down almost 850 whp on a F1 procharger on their very very low reading dyno....don't know mods yet but it may be on a stock bottom end. Think they are going to reveal after shift s3ctor.

Agreed! Camaro is not a light car, you need that low speed torque with a manual transmission get them moving.
