So how hard is it to actually sell take off OEM supercharger

I see posts about upgrading to the 2650 blower and people always say they can easily sell the OEM supercharger and recoup some of the costs. But how easy it to actually find a buyer. Do they sell reasonably well or is this a case if wishful thinking. Has anyone here actually sold the OEM?

Some performance shops will buy the oem supercharger if you buy a 2650 from them. I doubt you'll get as much as you'd think though. If you have the space, keep the oem supercharger for resale of your car, then sell the 2650.

All besides the 2650 is bone stock down to the air filter.

I see a lot go up for sale around $1600 and then sit idle for a while. I am not sure what they are actually selling for. A local just bought one for $400 (I realize that's really cheap). I think if you want to sell it without much hassle $1200-1400 is a good price.

I had a brand new take off LT4 blower that I put up for sale a year or so ago. Sat up for sale for months before finally selling for $1K. Most people don’t want them because by the time you get done paying for an install kit, you’re not a lot cheaper than just buying a Whipple or Maggie kit.
