I like it. The interior is really nice. The grille is a little busy though. Reminds you of Battlestar Galactica.

More likely what we'll see in the production car.

Availability is at least two years away, and sales are already dependent on incentives from the state of California....The incentive will be to cheapen the quality so it qualifies for incentives and subsidies to realize any sales....
Same old EV formula for "success"....Artificial demand once again. |

Exterior design should have been better, the Mustang SUV did a better job with that. Rest of new Cadillac sedans and SUVS are great looking, though.

I’ve already been informed that the Cadillac Lyriq will be replacing my wife’s Volt and possibly my SRX. Unless it’s priced too high, in which case the Mach E replaces the Volt.

Solar panels lose efficiency as they get hotter. They are tested @77*F and start dropping off @ 95*F Hydro is on the way out too because it's bad for the environment....

Solar panels do lose efficiency with heat. But they emit zero hydrocarbons while they’re doing so. And solar energy can be stored in batteries for future use when they “over-supply”.

You need to thank Tesla, as they push GM and other automakers to enter EV world. If they don't do it, Tesla would take them down.
The good news is that GM has its superior battery tech and rich EV experience. Now, Cadillac Lyriq is the key for the future of Camaro. Of course, I don't mean GM would follow the Ford bad idea which put an iconic sport car name in an electric crossover.

Like the over all looks. Seeing Cadillac Escalades over $100k in the showroom now makes me think a fully loaded one of these will sticker at $110k. They lost $’s on each $60k Vette, probably lose $’s on the $60k version too. But sometimes you have to spend $’s to make $’s.
