I am in a bit of a bind. My wife and I can not decide whether we want the MRT V2 or the Flowmaster 40 series so we have decided to let the forum decide. Any suggestions?

Hey guys Im a newbie here. I drive a 2012 45th Anniversary convertible with a v6 LFX engine. I was contemplating on adding a cold air intake and chip for extra hp and mpg. I was wondering if it is worth it and if so any recommendations?

Thanks!

Forget the chip, they are worthless. Lot's of options for a CAI and it will add a bit of power. Sounds good, too.

Gretchen is right....don't ever buy anything advertised as a chip and no ebay specials. A real, proper tune works well for boosting power on the LFX.

It's kind of hard to explain, just think of it as a tune is solid gold and chip is gold plated. Tune = performance, a chip = just for looks
