Touche' ! However, 20k is still cheaper than the 30k+ MSRP for the CE, PLUS dealer markups...soooo..I paid 67k for my 2023 ZL1...+ 20K for my DIY Collectors Edition package =87K for my own personal CE....100% GAURANTEED THE MSRP or MSRP + dealer markups will be more than 87k no???

Couple months ago I had asked my local dealer here to let me know about ordering when he found out. He just text me this AM to let me know they unveiled the CE today and I was still first on his list. I text him back and said thanks for letting me know but count me out on the CE. There isn't anything 2024 Camaro related that would entice me to let go of my '16 HBM (paid for) 2SS.

“With special paint, stripes, and badging, the package costs between $4995 and $5995 for the standard trims and $14,995 for the supercharged 650-hp ZL1.” I am shocked, especially since there will be no CE model - it’s just a decor package you can order on most of 2024 model Camaros. This is the ballsiest, low-content money grab I’ve seen from a manufacturer in a long time. |

Sadly, I won't be pursuing a Collector's Edition either. The matte black paint is a show-stopper for me. Matte paint is already too much of a chore to deal with and black makes it worse. Never mind the sheer difficulty and price of getting one of these.
My 2023 isn't too shabby, so I'll be hanging onto that.

...Not to be missed is getting a "Shinola" watch to go with the ZL1 CE...An interesting choice...as long as you can tell the difference between a CE and a non CE ZL1, and the difference between a Sh*t and a Shinola watch....lol....
Those marketing guys got me again!...lol |

Hahahahahhahahahha! Glad we got to watch while GM gave us the shaft. Pretty sure at this point no one there that has any balls left. We get an overpriced POS w/ fancy paint for a send off. And it's "special" getting thrown on every model............ Gm became gm and around the shitter it went. Makes me sad, they killed my Olds and then Pontiac, forced to Camaro and they piss it down the drain as well. Eat a D agenda pushers, eat the D.

Maybe this is just me, but I personally don't even understand why they are doing anything panther related on the CE. It isn't like the car was ever called the panther when it was actually in production for purchase. It was always the Camaro. Some prototypes or what not had some panther badging, but not production cars. Again, maybe just me, but my car is a Camaro, not a Panther. I wouldn't want a Camaro with "Panther" badging. Put Camaro and CE badging on it. Leave the Panther badging off.
