Hey now EDF...why rope me into this...My thread was not deleted and congratulations on making more power. Different strokes for different folks. I was looking for a CARB legal solution and I got it. Couldn’t be more happy with the results or with my experience with the folks at Magnuson in Ventura.

Why continue the debate. I’m happy to hold the money while you race the Mandalorian at TX2K.

If we are going to debate: the complexity of your port injection system and the cooling mods you posted are on a scale I would not be comfortable with. I too just want to fill up at the pump and go. For the money, I’d go with the new +50 or +60 injectors, cam and new high/low pumps.

I dont use race gas daily. (You want to get technical then even e85 isnt available at pumps in my state. I dont use slicks. DOT stamped tires have only been on my car since day 1. Port injection is CRAZY impractical for 99% of buyers lmao. Come on...

I offered to race you for cash at TX2K and you put a bunch of different stipulations on it. I still accepted. You in turn blocked me on FB. Lol

As far as Ramair: In the beginnging I did complement Jack but after every post he kept implying he was right even when proven wrong. Such as him proclaiming the Edelbrock was so superior at cooling it wouldnt need ANY form of additional cooling (capacity, etc) and could make 900whp on ONLY 93. Thrown into that argument was that for big power 5” intakes werent the right choice. ....

Before I did cam and fuel system I made more than 50 or 60 hp.. Nice try!

Never seen anyone try so hard to prove me wrong I love it!

I saw what the red zl1 1le with the 2650 made how did it out perform mine? The power so low they removed the thread!

And there is no 2650 Magnuson on just 93 or just e85 making more than mine... running meth there are some if i chose to run meth I'd be past them!

you 2 punks need race fuel and slicks to be fast! Something totally impractical for 99% of people buying your blowers..

And before more tears are shed:

Either 2650 system is superior to all of the 2.3/2.9 systems available and BOTH will put stock LT4 bottom ends at their limits.

They will both cost you insane money to push to the limit as well

Ya when I made the statement about cooling mods I was at the 800 mark when I got to 890s I needed them so stfu!

I never said 900 on 93 loser.

Well I do have e85 on every corner..

I race u e85 to e85..

Oh ya you cant run full e85 you haven't port injection or 10k for UWE sytems!

So,

I will take off my meth pump and hand it to you. We will go fill up on e85 and them race. I will go park and wait for you to catch up and hand me back my meth pump after I beat you.

Deal?

Auto X tires are DOT legal right?

What roll you want? You are needing everything to try to have a chance. Figured I would give you the roll speed you need too. 🤣🤣🤣

I was told this was the place to come to learn how to make high horsepower with a PD blower and no cooling mods. Looks like I found the right place.

ShizzySupra's claim about port injection is not really true. 'CRAZY impractical' only applies if you limit your fuel options by buying the Magnuson. Edelbrock makes PI an extra option available for your fuel solution. Not saying outright that it's 'the' solution, just that it's worthy of consideration when it's a possible choice.

Let's examine one of the factors customers will consider, namely, the costs of supplying fuel for one of these big-hp builds. First lets look at the fuel parts on the top Magnuson 2650 car:
Lingenfelter DI injectors $4399.00
LT4 hpfp $920.00
cam lobe (cam kit maybe $1200)
Fore Innovations low side assembly $2039.00
methanol injection kit ~$700.00

Now what about port injection? A complete kit with controller and fuel pump costs $4999.00 from Weapon-X. Hmmmm, does not cost more than the above, the capacity is fairly high, seems worthy of consideration.

IMO, both are great superchargers and for the avg buyer the deciding factor will be the hood mod vs valve cover mod. So far it seems most purchasing either has a 700-900rwhp goal in mind. I certainly appreciate the dilemma of choosing when going for the higher builds.

I agree with this. Every post about these superchargers end up going to what they can do on max effort builds while most people aren't looking for that.

Haha, welcome Jason and glad you entered the fray with your bad boy Zl1. Guess you made some pretty good power to run 9.28 and a best trap of 153. I think I saw that pass on Gen6 fast list. Vengeance did a stellar job on the build with our new 2650 Heartbreaker, made enough power to break an axle. Lt4 fueling correct or did you go the Lingenfelter route? Hope to catch up to you but having some traction and couple tuning issues, can't seem to put it all together at the same time. I'll figure it out.

That's what I been try to say... only someone like me thats dished out the cash for the LPE setup and wanting more power only running pump e85 would know this.

You didnt even mention the Katech 10k DI setup to run all E...

When they knew I had an argument they personally attacked me because I have no time slips to show off the product. When I got them a time slip it was supposedly a glory run.

They resort to tactics like that to discredit and take my statements and claims out of context.

It's no biggie both are great blowers but the port injection needs to be a consideration, the only reason I get so riled up is that they keep hounding the IATs making Edelbrock look bad..as I stated before the ls2300 gave them a bad rep that companies keep hashing up.

None of the IATs on my wifes car or my 2650 have kept me from making the power I want to make.

I'll admit that the maggi 2650 probably has an upper hand on stock setup hell Mike in his Z06 video says it ported.. but, your paying for it 199.00 for a TB adapter and close to 900 more for the unit.. but once that same money is spent porting the eforce they will be on the same playing field..

Honestly I think that the intercoolers do not have as much to do with the iats as good velocity

Hell Complete street said they saw 140s on 900 hp CTSv3..

Hopefully we can put it to rest about the iats slander and I'll quit pushing the port injection 1 up!

I'm still up to race shizzy same tire, same fuel, no nos.. I think it would be good exposure for both.
