So what in tank options are there other than the double and triple Fore setup? I know others such as DSX have aux pump where you have to tap the tank.

You don't need it.

Yes it does if you want to just run pump e85 without mixing. Not everyone wants to mess with meth or race gas to be past 800rwhp.
Port injection would benefit people that want to make 800s with no cam swap aswell. Being able to hop in the car and go fill up at the pump without mettering 93 and e85 or leaving the house and remembering if you checked the meth tank are just some of the nice conveniences of port injection or not having to order a drum of race fuel is nice to.

Port injection a lot cheaper and helps with the coating on the valves if you don’t want to run meth .

Anyone can make 700s on all e with LT4 fuel parts and a cam lobe! or 900s on meth and race fuel..Not that you need that kinda of power, if the car is setup correctly it should run 9s or better at the track. And if you do great job to ya.. that's your cup of tea. I do not do dyno nights so not really a dyno Queen.. I do do car events and street race and I know its not the best thing to do but it fits in to my work and life schedule. If a friend ask's me to go to the track, I'll go.. I'll race but I'm not going to be all worried about changing to the correct tires for a good number.. I have had many time slips with 2.5 60ft and 13s plus at 135 plus mph so I know my cars fast where it needs to be.. Honestly I think the way its measured is a joke I have seen a lot 9s and 10s cars with below 120 mph on their time slips that wouldn't do shit in real life AKA on the street.
Down here in Houston we use the cars on the street as much or more than the track.. anything less than 1000s you might as well stay home and play with yourself. So port injection is the logical choice in this situation. The car scene is huge here a twin turbo lambo kit maker lives here (you may recall him as having the 1st rear mounted turbo 6 gen 9 sec car also builds a ton of manifolds for LS and LTs "James Goertz") making kits non stop, Mclarens, lambos, and ferrari's seen every day.. Well at least i do on my 40 mile commute right through downtown passing the Stro's stadium and Texans stadium.. I've probably had my car less than a month in 2019 and every time I see a 1000cc bike, Porche GT3, or a nissan GTr revving there motor passing me.. I'm like GD I wish I had my car. I'm sorry but I get my kicks out ruining a super car days more than going to the track.. Anyhow, that's why I'm doing Port Injection.. I thought I should explain myself better I see all the hints of making fun of me Laynlo15 no big deal probably deserve it.. P.S. don't get me wrong if you think I was soft on Edelbrock when I tried to make power with my old 2010 eforce your wrong.. They surely stepped up the game now though!

One thing no one can debate is Direct injected engines will make more power and be faster than dual or port injected engines.
We are doing a build know with the Ktech system and 30% over injectors should be interesting. Ted.

Question for EDF - is the ecu for the port injection only or is it replacing the stock ecu?

The cost is highly debatable and often times a wash. It really all comes down to your goals, specific setup, and how far you wish to push it. I could easily go either way with my setup. With methanol on the car already, adding FIC 30+ injectors and a Lingenfelter pump is really close to the same price as PFI. Sure if your going really extreme and want Lingenfelter injectors and a Katech belt drive than yeah PFI would be cheaper but is that needed for my personal goal? This debate is greatly overstated. What is good for one may not necessarily be the best path for another. To me there is no right or wrong or no one perfect way that everyone must accept. In every thread this drum gets beat. To me it’s just somebody trying to convince everyone that their brand is superior. You know what they are all good. I applaud all who are quietly getting it done their own way.

The stock ecu is still used in some fashion in fact I think I have to run to pedals so the stock ecu sees the throttle position closed..
