Stock V8 NPP Exhaust For Sale

I got the Borla ATAK rear section so have my stock NPP rear section available for sale, only 640 miles on the exhaust. $200, local pick up only.

Does it bolt up to the stock none NPP exhaust? Also I believe but I'm not positive that the openings on the black piece around the exhaust is smaller on the cars without NPP exhaust

From my research, it looks like an NPP muffler can bolt on to a non-NPP exhaust if welding or using clamps. No bolted joints for just axle back, need to cut and re-attach. However, there's a little more to it than just bolting it up.

1) The wiring harness for the NPP actuators isn't on non-NPP cars, or at least I can't find it on mine). Would need to wire up your own controller or switch for manual control (easier), or figure out how to wire and reprogram the controllers that control the NPP from the factory (not easy and probably not possible without help from a dealer).

2) There are other valves in the non-NPP exhaust that I haven't seen on NPP systems. They're located about 2 feet before the muffler on the mid-pipe. Not 100% sure what those valves are or how they're controlled, but they'll most likely change the sound.

3) You are correct, the rear lower fascia would need to be replaced/cut to allow room for the dual tips on each side instead of the stock single tips.

4) I'm guessing that this isn't a huge concern, but making this change will also void warranties (I'd be really surprised if it didn't, at least).

The valves are defaulted to the open position. So if someone was buying this for looks and the sound of the NPP exhaust with open valves the only other thing they would need is the rear bumper lower valance, and a new clamp and gasket. Considering GM has this exhaust at list price of ~$2500. I'd say you are basically giving it away. Especially since the "core charge" on the catalytic converters is $200.

Does it have the valves or did you use those on the borla?

Valves are still there, the Borla system comes with their own valves so don't need to reuse the stock ones.

The electronic actuators stay with the car wiring harness....
