SSHR Q?

Getting ready for a big show this weekend. I did the works in this order - washed, clayed, SHR, Machine Polish, Brilliant Glaze and Buttery Wax. On the hood and trunk lid I used SSHR. I read over on the Adams forum that some guy said I should have gone over the SSHR with the SHR and I didn't, is that going to mess it up or make it look bad?

The tendency is that Severe Swirl will leave some micro marring that Fine Machine Polish can't fully remove so the Swirl & Haze bridges that gap. I've skipped it before and been fine, comes down to the individual circumstances.

If you don't notice any hazing or micro marring left behind by the process then you're fine, don't sweat it. If you do see some minor imperfections the next time you are ready to detail just hit that spot with SHR followed by FMP.

Adam's has both Hand and Machine applied polishes...just depends on how good of results you are looking for. Check out the video's on their website and DO NOT be afraid of machine polishing. The results will melt your face off.
