LOWERING SPRINGS HELP!

I got my lowering springs installed, and I hit a small bump on the way home, I wasn't going very fast. From that point on the front two springs have been making a creaking noise everytime I hit a bump as the car is coming down.

I called the company who installed it and they said bring it back. Skip thinks they didn't tighten the strut enough...

Any advice will be very appreiciated. Should it be okay to drive? Thanks in advance.

Should be safe to drive it down to them. How long were the new springs on?

Its possible that the springs are just settling in - turning a bit when you hit a bump until they get into a stable spot. But, if its something worse it'll be far worth the trip to have them check it out.

Should be ok to drive on it, but I wouldn't go dukes of hazard on it.

Not sure what springs you went with but all of the hardware has specific torque settings. Make sure they have torqued everything to spec

What kind of bump btw? Speed bump? pot hole? Curb? That shouldn't cause any problems... mind letting us know brand of springs, and how much lower? I've heard people say while the springs are settling, it makes noises... o_o

Obviously better get it checked out incase, regardless.

Ok, BMR stage 1 kit - 1in drop and sways. Not a speed bump more like a drop in the rosd from construction but it could be more than 2 in. The company that instsled them should be at C&C tomorrow and I can show them.
