Newly built engine with new clutch having a problem
So I was doing a pull I recently rebuilt my engine and also put a monster triple disk clutch in(2016 camaro ss m6). I triple checked everything and had a another friend of mine check everything all over. I broke the engine in and also the clutch. But when accelerating does good 2nd to 3rd but when I go 3rd to 4th I go from 131-132mph back down to 120-122mph on that shift then it goes again then once I shift into 5th gear and the car stops accelerating it’s like I hit a wall at 150. On a datalog I did I was in 5th gear and went from 5100 rpm’s to 5300rpm and gain 6-7mph over the course of 7 seconds. Before I rebuilt the car when I shifted into 5th it would keep pulling all the way into the 190s. Thing is I did take the bellhousing off the tr6060 not knowing it was integrated and I’m wondering if something is not aligned.

Is there a special (thinner) throwout bearing to use with the triple disc?

I assume you got your shifter install issue fixed. My guess is the clutch is not installed properly and your clearances are not set correctly. I would shut it down and contact the manufacture for the correct install procedures and clearances. Could have the pressure plates not bitting on disc correctly and you're getting slippage, clutch cylinder might have air in the line, throw out bearing not aligned properly.

Have you data logged the car when this happens?

Well, if you get clutch slip, you should get the error described in this thread. The car compares engine rpm to output shaft rpm. So, I would think it's not detecting slip.
