The Foster mod does in deed work but takes some tuning with covering the cabin opening. As supplied it's closed off but has a tremendous amount of intake WHOOSH and it took a few layers of latex glove on multiple attempts to tone that down and leave the whine. Which it does indeed dump A LOT of whine in to the cabin.

(I have a RB CAI and removed the sound plate from the lid).

Sorry to bring up this older thread, but can you elaborate on the "dividers" you're talking about associated with the billet lid? What benefit do they provide, and which lid did you end up going with?
