Yes indeed saw the steering wheel tag myself, I was the one in all the videos at the Detroit auto show on media day that are online! Got photos of the steering wheel too! That is 001 of 350 which is GMs car that will be in the heritage building!

They're actually no different than any other 2SS seats. You can get it with or without Recaros and you can get the other interior color options on a CE. It's just like any other 2SS other than the CE interior bits.

I went back and looked at some other 2SS seats and you're right, I stand corrected. I was thinking that the lower portion of a regular 2SS seat didn't have the "side bolsters" similar to the Recaro lower. My bad, still looks good.

It sorta seems that Chevy placed slightly more effort into the 5th generation Commemorative Edition than the 6th generation Collectors Edition. Does it not?

Not really. The 5th gen had that red interior but other than the stripes, it really wasn't any different than what you could get on any other 2SS exterior wise.
