Yet another one trying to profit from GM history. I hope that GM sues them and forces them to stop this program and noone but GM should build a ZL1 car.

SLP and GM have had a long history working together. My guess, SLP has GM's "blessing".

I know they have a long history - but I just dont see SLP worthy of creating the truely blessed ZL1 car. In my opinion the only one that should build a car with the ZL1 name is GM themselves.

While I agree that it would be great to see GM build a ZL1, what with all the rules/regulations GM has to deal with, ie: CAFE, it's probably easier for them to work with a company like SLP to create such a "beast".

SLP is a pretty reputable company. They have done great work with not only GM, but Ford, and other companies. Their attention to offering high quality aftermarket performance parts as well as truly awesome cars is impressive and IMO makes SLP one of the better "tuner" companies around.

GMMG produced the 4th Gen ZL-1 with the help and blessing from GM why not SLP? Now I am not a fan of the SLP 5th Gen cars to me it looks like that just slapped on some parts from the parts bin (the SLP car at Camaro5 Fest looked like crap IMHO).

But good luck I would like to see the specs of this car.

SLP HAS been working very close w/ GM all along... They even had a deal going to sell the ZL1 at dealerships with full GM warranty. Seems the Z-28 put a crimp in that one.

With the very limited run, I expect that these will hold there value very well and eventually become collectables!!! Great Job GM/SLP !

You can predict the value/collectability just look at GMMG cars.
