New Member, New Camaro
Hello Everyone - I've been lurking here for a couple of months, but finally got around to registering. I recently bought a new (leftover) 2018 2SS Camaro, the first Camaro I've ever owned.
Although I'm going to keep the car basically stock, I have installed the ZL1 Addons Lift Pads, RPI splash guards, and Expel PPF on the front end & mirrors... just trying to keep the car in good condition. I also installed a Valentine One radar detector, and made my own rear seat delete. I have a skip shift eliminator, but haven't got it installed yet. I would like to thank everyone on the forum for the advice I've received while lurking! You guys helped me without realizing it! The Camaro: Homemade Rear Seat Delete: |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thanks guys! I plan on taking the car on a 1600 mile roadtrip next weekend, looking forward to seeing how the car feels on a long trip for the first time.

Welcome to the Forum and I must admit you do have a beautiful car! Love the color. When I first got mine I also added the ZL1 lift pads, one of the best insurance policies you can have. I have now seen two Camaro's that had damage to due to jacking in the wrong spots.
Again, congratulations on the ride.
