When have you ever made someone else speechless...

So my friend was over the other day and he asked to see my ZL1 and could we take a drive. It was nice enough weather so we did take a drive. After words we went to the garage and looked it over, he was pretty impressed to say the least! But then he asked me: "Don't you wish you had two of these, one to mess with and one to keep nice and just drive" I responded saying: "Well, you have to admit, this one is pretty nice and as far as having two of them, I can't drive two, so why have two!" and he had no response !

I know we talk mostly nuts and bolts on this forum, but this was a funny side story I wanted to share!

I thought I recall someone here on the forum who has a collection of them. If you have the money to burn they just become a full size Hot Wheels collection. Wait, there is a Hot Wheels edition.

You can keep it nice and drive it too, just have a daily driver for boring duties.

I had to tell a truly flabbergasted guy that I just put winter tires on it and keep it moving. He was blown away by it being a DD. "No way you drive that in the winter!!??"

Correct! My daily boring car is a QX80. And WOW, what a total adjustment to be sitting so high above most everyone in my QX80, then jump in my ZL1 and it feels like I'm sitting on the road !

That would be the ultimate in Gen6 Camaro ownership.

Nah, the ultimate would be 4 Camaros, auto and manual variants of both the ZL1 and the ZL1 1LE

I don't have two 6th-generation Camaros, however, I do have two cars from Chevrolet's Performance line. Does that count?

Choosing which car to drive is dependent on my mood and the weather. A nice sunny day usually brings out the Corvette because it's a convertible and I do enjoy top-down driving. If I'm in the mood for some aggressive acceleration, hearing supercharger whine, and rowing gears, the ZL1 gets the nod.

The hardest part of owning two performance cars is not which one to drive but keeping them both clean, especially the ZL1. I find myself spending a lot of time standing in my driveway with a pressure washer and foam cannon. Real-world problems, I know.

BTW, my daily is a GMC pickup.

I suppose so, but not very likely to happen unless you are Rick Hendrick.
