2021 SS 1LE - adding E85/Tune - questions

Adding this to the engine section as there doesn't seem to be a lot action in the tuning section -

I would love to see some engine performance increases with the LT1 in my 2021 SS 1LE that is pretty much only used on the track. I'm not ready to go down the full bolt on route, but since I had such great success adding a tune and E85 with my 2019 F150 5.0, I wanted to see how this work for the LT1's. With the 5.0, it was flex fuel ready and the tune I got (OZ Tuning) adjusted for all octanes, as well as E85. I know I have to add the flex fuel kit for the LT1, but are there tunes (tuners) that have that capability with the LT1? If I go this route, I'll also be adding the LT2 intake.

Virtually any tuner that works on LT1 Camaros will be able to add E85 to your ECM tune with no problem.

Totally get that....what I am asking is - are the LT1 tunes that work with E85, able to adjust to non E85 fuels or octane levels without out having to change tunes?

Flex Fuel….. yes. You can run whatever you want. But don’t run diesel…. Diesel no go

Anything from regular 91/93 octane all the way up to E85 is no problem. The sensor will pickup the E content and will automatically adjust stoichiometric & timing accordingly.

A couple of months ago, I added the E85 kit from LethalGarage to my 2017 2SS.

I then had my car dyno tuned for both 93 and E85. The tune adjusts for all E%'s.

Picked up about 40 HP/TQ over stock.

If you are going to add an LT2 intake manifold, I would also recommend doing an air intake (Rotofab or which ever) and headers (I did Kooks).

I don't have an LT2 manifold but I did recently add Kooks 1 7/8" headers. Peak power did not increase by much (10 hp/tq) but the usable area under the curve and the power/tq was extended and does not fall off as sharply at high RPM's. Before and after gains for my car in the upper RPM's was easily 50 hp/tq.
