Yup! They make really good house pets actually. They like spending time with humans and can be litter box trained.

The only downside is they love chewing and nibbling on everything in sight, especially cords and baseboards.

Impossible to get them all in a picture, but I have a lab mix, chow (I think...) mix, and a tabby. A Husky will be my next, and I want to eventually add a serval.

All mine in one pic lol

Ok, pic dump haha
Kitty (Rachel) is the gray tabby cat. My first pet. Out smoking on the porch one night and she walked up as a tiny kitten. She stuck around for 3 days so I took her in.

We adopted Shadow next. Russian blue, we think. Elderly woman who owned him had died. She had been feeding him mac and cheese and fried chicken. He weighed over 17lbs when we got him.

Unfortunately over the last several months he had 3 surgeries on his jaw. Incompetent vet misdiagnosed a fast growing cancerous tumor in his jaw as an impact injury. Second opinion confirmed. Shadow had his fill of Mac and cheese and fried chicken a few days ago before we put him down at our home. RIP sweet Shadow.

Not long after we got Shadow, the gf realized she wasn't a cat person. Adopted Milo the maltese at 4 months, he was tiny. He's 8 lbs now, and almost 5.

Then we got Nibbler at 2 months. He's a mini dachshund/yorkie mix, a "Dorky" haha. Little devil but love this guy. He's 12 lbs and 4

They have always loved each other

Then we adopted a pitbull, named her Lola. She was a 6 month old stray at the humane society. She weighed 34 lbs at 6 months, she's 3 now and weighs 65 lbs

Not spoiled at all

My French Bulldog. He has been a blessing...8 years young. Loves my daughter to death even though she is a bit too rough with him.

This is Mel. Showed up to my doorstep as a kitten when it was pouring rain outside when I was living in hawaii. Never had pets before but I have rescued a few from structure fires. Anyhow, moved to L.A. and of course i had to bring her. Been her dad for 10 years. She's a hawaii girl so she loves being warm.

Great picture! I have her sister. Actually, I have two of her sisters. Mine are half sisters - same mother - one year apart.
Evidently, you are a Fireman. You guys have always amazed me. How you can be so courageous to do the most perilous job on earth and, yet, still have the compassion to save a kitten from a burning building.
