It is still at the person giving it away's discretion, you do not have to respond to the new persons pm or post....So if you (not literally) snoopyace7 joined in January and haad one post saying hey I will take it, I would probably think twice..

Common sense is allowed to be present in decision making.. But again, if you are paying it forward (and are taking it in it's truest form)...you are doing your part so what does it matter?

That's what ran through my mind at first. I could see that some forum trolls would come on here and get all these free gifts, turn around and sell them on e-bay.

Nevertheless, it's still a good deed for the person giving the item away regardless of what the receiver does with it afterwards.
