Monster twin disk break in period
I recently had a good amount of work done to my 2013 2SS/1LE. A part of the upgrades was a Monster Twin Disc clutch. I have put about 300 miles on the clutch thus far. I took it out and did a few pulls, but in the midst of the last one I heard and felt a boom. After the pull the car would not go into reverse. After about 3-5 mins the reverse began working again. On the way home I began to hear something that resembled gravel noises bouncing around under the stick shifter. Immediately following the sound was a bumping noise and the stick shifter gained an awful vibration or shaking if you will. The car still shifts but I’m getting a gravel noise and a bump when getting to 40 mph and up. Initially I thought, “maybe it’s the driveshaft,” so I jacked it up and took a peak; looks intact. Any ideas??
