I own a 2013 1LE I heard so Much about it all good I bought one. After time I realized how much I didn't use or didn't like. I hated the look of the wheels. They were hell to keep clean. I traded them for MRR'S!!! Then there was the hood wrap. I had that taken off and the Hood painted Matte Black. It to was a chore to keep clean with the wrap. Then I thought about all the Stuff under the car the suspension the 3:91 gearing. Didn't track the car so why do I need it ????? So needless to say This time Im going back to a 2SS plan ole Camaro My Thoughts on the 1LE <<<<< PM me if you would like to chat about my thoughts......

Just read through this entire thread, taking in everyone's thoughts on the (now confirmed) 2017 1LE. And I must say I learned a lot, although a test drive is the final piece to my puzzle.

Many differing opinions, but one thing that GM has to be smiling about:

The passion that Camaro owners have for their cars. The fact that a non-name plate performance package can illicit such a varied degree of responses has the GM marketing department doing back flips.

Like everyone else, I can't wait for 12:01 am (per Mr. Wyndham) on February 11th.

It was directly marketed to people who intended to track their car, or wanted an SS that was intended to do well on a track. That group of people (as has been stated) is small. However, that said - they sold more 1LE-equipped SS's then they originally thought they would. So...there's a good number or these cars out there.

Most people who are excited for it, either have owned or driven one (It's a dramatic difference from the SS), or have read the reviews and noticed that all the reports are universally enthralled with the 1LE package.

Hmmmm, 5TH Gen Z/28 (DSSV) with ZL1/1LE wheels/tires

interesting test..... picture taken when 6TH Gen performance variants were being tested also. Benchmarking DSSV's with both generations wearing same tire/wheel combo
